On December 19, 2024, the Varsity Girls Basketball team faced off against Scheck Hillel in a highly anticipated away game. The last time the Cudas played the Lions, they suffered a narrow loss, with a final score of 42–37. This time, the stakes were clear—it was about more than just a win. It was about redemption.

Don Soffer established its dominance on the court. The first points were scored by Liana Kozko, putting the Cudas in the lead and setting the tone for the game. With confidence and determination, the team pushed forward, steadily adding to the scoreboard. Hillel kept the pressure on and stayed close behind, building tension throughout the match. But no matter how hard the Lions fought, the Cudas weren’t about to let history repeat itself.
Strong defensive plays kept Hillel from ever taking the lead. Offensively, the Cudas delivered standout performances—Liana Kozko led the charge with an impressive 22 points, followed by Angelina Gonzalez with 10, Mia Gal with 9, and Eugenia Trias adding 3 points.
Fueled by teamwork, the Cudas closed out the game with a commanding 44–28 victory. As the final buzzer sounded, the Soffer crowd erupted with cheers, rising from their seats in celebration. For the Cuda team, it wasn’t just a win—it was revenge.
