DECA: Empowering Future Leaders

The DECA chapter at Don Soffer offers students a unique opportunity to develop valuable business and leadership skills. The club focuses on preparing students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. 

This month, DECA is hosting two workshops, open to all students. A LinkedIn Workshop on April 22nd will give you the opportunity to learn how to build an impressive LinkedIn profile and connect with professionals. In addition, the Resume Workshop on April 29th will allow attendees to receive guidance on building a professional resume that stands out, highlighting your strengths. 

Furthermore, we’re excited to announce that the application process for the 2025-2026 school year will be starting in May. As a member of DECA, you’ll join a community of motivated students who are passionate about professional growth. Those who are accepted will have the chance to participate in exciting events/conferences, build valuable connections, and even compete at state and national levels. DECA offers a great opportunity to learn how to network with professionals and gain hands-on experience in business. By joining, you’ll be part of a prestigious club that sets you up for success both in school and beyond.
