The DECA chapter at Don Soffer Aventura High School offers students a unique opportunity to develop essential business and leadership skills. Focused on preparing members for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management, the club combines real-world learning with competitive experiences that build confidence and professionalism.

This month, DECA is hosting two workshops open to all students. On April 22nd, a LinkedIn Workshop will offer guidance on how to create a strong LinkedIn profile and effectively connect with professionals in your field of interest. Then, on April 29th, the Resume Workshop will help students craft professional, polished résumés that showcase their strengths and make a lasting impression.

Soffer’s DECA team is excited to announce that the application process for the 2025–2026 school year will begin this May. As a DECA member, you’ll join a driven community of students who are passionate about leadership, business, and professional development. Accepted members will have the opportunity to attend exciting conferences, build meaningful connections, and compete at both the state and national levels.

DECA offers more than just a club experience–it’s a gateway to hands-on learning, real-world networking, and future career success. By joining, you’ll become part of a prestigious organization that prepares you to thrive in high school, college, and beyond.

More details on how to apply will be coming soon. Stay updated through the Instagram (@dsahs_deca), and don’t miss out on the chance to be apart of DECA’s future!
