Hello readers! My name is Remi Potack, and I am the Co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of The Barracuda Bulletin. Launching and leading Don Soffer Aventura High School’s first-ever student newspaper has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my academic journey. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for journalism with the Soffer community and beyond. Writing has always been a source of purpose and fulfillment for me, but I’ve never seen it as something meant to stay confined to the page. I’ve always viewed journalism as a force for impact—a way to give voice to important stories and spark meaningful change. This project has empowered me to bring that vision to life. As Editor-in-Chief, I immerse myself in all aspects of the Bulletin, contributing across a wide range of topics and sections. From investigative journalism to creative features, opinion pieces, event coverage, and entertainment writing, I’m constantly inspired to challenge myself and explore the full depth of storytelling. Leading this initiative has been both an honor and a true creative adventure.
