Polina Kogan: Community Liaison
Hi, I’m Polina Kogan, and I’m proud to serve as both a writer and the Community Liaison for The Barracuda Bulletin. This year has been incredibly rewarding, offering me the opportunity to write both opinion and sports-related pieces. I especially enjoy writing opinion articles because they give me a chance to explore topics that Don Soffer students truly relate to—helping them feel seen, heard, and connected through our publication. One of the highlights of my writing experience was covering Soffer’s outstanding tennis team. Capturing their dedication and collaboration gave me a deeper appreciation for the spirit and unity our school community holds. As Community Liaison, I work to connect our writers with the events and conversations happening around our school. It’s my goal to make sure our work reflects what matters to our peers and helps their voices be recognized. Writing for The Barracuda Bulletin has made me more engaged with our school, more aware of our community, and a stronger communicator overall. I’m excited to keep growing with this club and can’t wait to see what we create next.
